We are EXCITED to offer a new collaboaration workshop with Peg from Concrete Chic on Tuesday, May 21st 6pm-9pm. Event is at Hammer and Stain South Shore 594 Washington Street, South Easton MA 02379. Workshop lasts approx. 3 hours and limited to 15 people.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Create unique concrete pieces for your home or garden! Participants will experience how to mix and measure, add in color, and pour into molds. We will be creating a succulent dish, trinket tray, free form egg sculpture as well as one other piece you can pick from a variety of molds (4 pieces in total). No art experience necessary. Open to all levels. There will be 45 minutes to an hour of downtime for our concrete creations to cure. During this period, you can mingle with friends, browse our retail section and enjoy a snack and a beverages which you can BYOB snacks and drinks.
All materials included in tuition cost. Each participant will create four unique concrete creations. Please bring a box or heavy duty bag with you to bring home your creations.
Meet Your Host, Peg
I started playing around with concrete about 6 years ago. I took a class on how to build a concrete countertop. I still don’t have that countertop due to carpentry skills I don’t have but I found a fascination with mixing concrete. I have been hosting classes for about three years. I show students how they can go home make additional pieces with a few easy steps.
